Crystals Used in Healing:
I use this list to muscle-test which crystals are best worn on the body, carried in a pocket, or holding while meditating. You can also just have the stone in your living space in that area of the house that you spend most of the time.
I also have friends that make Gem Elixirs out of crystals as well. These are drops you take orally much like homeopathic drops.
And for those of you who are freaked out that I would be talking about crystals...get over it. If you don't believe in them, it would never come up in your exam process. You can call it New Age if you want to. I just call it all good, and I just like 'em.
Look at it like this....If God made humans, plants, animals, trees, flowers, the sun, the moon and the stars, why would the devil be put in charge of making rocks? I love rocks and God does too. Have you ever taken sulfa drugs? Sulfur is a rock. Do you use salt? Another rock. What does a diamond mean to you? Or a birth stone? Well, you get the picture.
There are actually thousands of crystals and rocks used in healing. In general, anything ending in the suffix "ite" vibrates very high and is a good healing crystal, but lots of people that test they need crystals as part of their treatment test they need Gold Tiger Eye (empowerment), Carnelian (energy), Lapis (strengthens metaphysical ability), Turquoise (Universal healing stone) Zircon (chakra balancer as my best guess) and Quartz (pink for unconditional love and clear for healing/balancing).
