B-Stress Formula #100 Nature’s Way Herbs—My favorite B-Vitamin combination with Ginseng.  I talked about this product and stress in my February, 2006 newsletter. There is also a great picture of stress rings in the iris there as well. Take a peek.

Balance Gold Bars (Rocky Road is my favorite flavor) I use these bars for a before bedtime snack (1/2 bar is one Zone block,) and I also pack a few in my suitcase when I travel as I have lots of food allergies and don't know when I can find foods that I can eat.  

Baldrain Plus- VitaMinerals--Some of my clients are convinced this works great for back pain. What it is, is enteric coated valerian. I've got to say, I think they are right. I don't understand why plain valerian capsules don't work as well, but they don't. Baldrain Plus seems like a great formula.

Black Cherry Concentrate Tree of Life—For bouts of Gout and kidney problems. I’m including a picture of this product because most people don’t know the difference between cherry juice off the shelf and the concentrate. If you have gout, this is the one you will need. Black Cohosh #180 Capsule Bottle by Nature’s Way: Used for dogs that dribble as they get older, but it doesn’t work that well for humans with the same problem. That is more individualized and is often associated with tendons/ligaments and allergies. 

Blackstrap molasses--A great mineral-rich, natural food source high in iron. I use it whenever I can in many of my recipes. Taken in smoothies or drinks, the dose is not more than 3/4 teaspoon per day.

Blessed Thistle #100 Nature’s Way Herbs: Used for increasing milk production,  female disorders and healing the liver. It purifies the blood and improves circulation  by strengthening the heart.  

Bragg's Liquid Aminos, 32 Fluid Ounces is used as a flavoring and soy sauce substitute. Bragg Products use no table-salt! Bragg Liquid Aminos contain a small amount of naturally occurring sodium from certified non-GMO healthy soybeans (although I wonder how long it will be before pollens all around the world mix.)

Burdock Root #100 Nature’s Way Herbs—Great for many types of arthritis and the pain associated with it. Burdock purifies the blood and liver. It helps with skin disorders such as boils and carbuncles and also helps relieve gout symptoms. The Native Americans dug this "weed" up in the early spring and used it as a pot herb. It's kind of bitter--as most liver cleansing herbs and foods are. Click on the product picture to order.

Buzz Away Natural Insect Repellant--Pets don’t like it, but it works great for people. I  spray a little on my pant legs before walking in the forest during tick season. A little goes a long way.  Some of my clients have tried it on their horses. It's only effective for about an hour. Sorry!

C-500 w/ Rose Hips #250 Nature’s Way Herbs. Rose hips are very high in vitamin C and very bioavailable to the body. Natural Vitamin C is comprised of four molecules. Ascorbic acid only has one molecule. Because of this ascorbic acid doesn't work as w3ell and can cause stomach upset.

Calcium Balance One-to-One, Douglas Labs  #90 Capsule Bottle. there are so many forms of calcium on the market. Finding the one that is right for you is essential. Calcium Balance Plus Vitamin D, Douglas Labs #90 Bottle

I have many kinds of calcium in my pharmacy because finding the right one for you is important. When I was 13 years old, my knees ached. Even then, I think my Guides were with me, because I found myself at the local health-food store purchasing a bottle of calcium with Vitamin D in it (with my allowance!) Calcium Citrate, 1000mg Solaray #120 Calcium citrate is one of the more easily digested calcium's. Some people like to take it in the chewable form called Viactive, which you can purchase from the grocery store these days. It also comes in a liquid form. For natural forms of calcium, click here.

Castor Oil, 16 oz. Bottle by Home Health, (Not to be taken internally or confused with Cod Liver Oil.)  Used in Castor Oil Packs to draw out toxins. Great for part of some cancer treatments programs. Soak a piece of clean white flannel, lay it over the affected area (usually the liver) and cover with saran wrap, a towel and heating pad or bottle. Remove after several hours. 

Celtic Sea Salt—My favorite kind of salt. A half-pound costs about $8.55, but it’s cheaper than joining the society for $30 and placing a minimum order. You can read more about Celtic Sea Salt at www.celticseasalt.com

Change-O-Life #100 Nature’s Way Herbs 

This is quite excellent for that old dog, leaky bladder syndrome. Most dogs need 1/2 to 2/day depending on their size.

Charcoal, Activated #100 Nature’s Way Herbs—Used for offensive body odor and poisonings. (Also use chlorophyll pearles and parsley)

Chezyn®: A combination of chelated copper and zinc made by Standard Process™ that does a great job in repairing eye problems--especially macular degeneration and retinitis. I use this along with a Nikken Sleep Mask. Should be taken for several months.

Chitosan 500 MG - 120 Capsules - Source Naturals Chitosan 500mg. #120 Capsule Bottle by Source Naturals fat binder capsules. (Yes, you will need a lot of them if you have high cholesterol or are trying to loose weight with them.)  Just get them! One capsule binds about 6-8 grams of fat when you take it with a fatty meal. You can also use them for high cholesterol. Take 2-3 capsules per night with 1/2 cup water (not food) just before you go to bed. Cost runs about $29/180 capsules. Cleavers Herb for increased libido (along with Phytopharmica AM/PM formula). It's also an excellent herb for "thunder thighs" and anyone with a history of low-grade bladder infections (causing bad body odor and stinky feet and swollen ankles.) I carry this in bulk.

Co-Q 10 I think is best taken into the body in whole-food form, and it’s way less expensive and more effective that way as well. I recommend Cardio-Plus® by Standard Process labs.

Coleus Forskohlii Extract, Douglas Labs #60 Capsules used for some thyroid problems. It affects the heart contractions and blood clotting. Studies are being done to see how it helps congestive heart disease, glaucoma  and  chronic bronchial disease. 

Cranberry Concentrate, Unsweetened, Tree of Life 16 oz. Bottle  Cranberry Concentrate Unsweetened - 16 Fluid Ounces Liquid - Tree Of Life This is my secret weapon for bladder infections. It makes the bladder slicker inside so bacteria can't stick to it and helps to tighten urethral sphincter muscles so you don't dribble. You'd have to drink a couple of gallons of Cranberry Juice off the shelf to get the same affect as just 2 tablespoons of this stuff. Plus, you'd be ingesting too much sugar and if your bladder infection had anything to do with yeast, the sugar would feed it. I put this stuff in a shot glass, down it, then chase it with an ounce or two of plain water. Repeat the treatment for about a week. 

D

Dioxychlor, American Biologics 1oz. Bottle Used for cancer and yeast infections to get oxygen to the cells and kill off the cells a little at a time. There is a particular protocol to use with this product. I think it tastes like bleach, but I've used it in the past. 

Dry E 400 IU, Solaray #50 Capsule Bottle. Blood Type O people are allergic to a component in the gel capsule (tartaric acid.) They should get Vitamin E from natural food sources, but when they need more than they can get out of food, I recommend this one. Deficiency signs of Vitamin E include damage to the red cells, nervous system symptoms, infertility (in both the male and female), menstrual problems, miscarriage, bowel cancer, breast cancer, and heart disease. Get a brand that says "Mixed Tocophorols" or "D alpha Tocophorols" as the ones that says "D-L α (alpha) tocophorol" is made of petroleum--which is what they make motor oil out of. I have noticed that lots of people are petrochemical sensitive these days.

Easy Cheese, Kraft brand Cheddar and Bacon (for bribing dogs--no, it's not organic.) I've tried lots of things over my career as a vet. Hot dogs usually work as well, but this is much less messy. Do they remember you after the bribe? You bet! Even if it's years later when they see you again. I only had one person hate me for giving it. Apparently their dog loved it. While they were away, the dog saw a can of it at his house. He worked and worked at it and found he could squish the can against the couch to get it to come out. What a mess. (He did finish off the can, however.)

Essiac Liquid Tea Extract 10.5oz. Bottle  Essiac (es-ee-ack) is an herbal tea attributed to Canadian Nurse Rene M. Caisse, pronounced "reen (not re-nay) case". Naming it Essiac after backward spelling of her last name, Rene dedicated her life to treating patients and trying to get her formula officially recognized. Her Rene M. Caisse Cancer Clinic for terminal cancer patients operated from 1935 to 1941. The four main herbs that make up Essiac are Burdock Root, Slippery Elm Inner Bark, Sheep Sorrel and Indian Rhubarb Root. If a little is good, a lot is NOT better. Take no more than 2 teaspoons/day. I believe that this should not be the only thing used to heal cancer. Getting to the core cause is essential and treating it with a host of strategies is what usually works. For more on this read my cancer handout.   

Ester-C w/Bioflavonoids #100 Nature’s Way Herbs. Ester-C is the most advanced form of Vitamin C available. It has been specially formulated for faster absorption and retention so you can obtain the maximum benefits of vitamin C quickly. By "etherifying" vitamin C with calcium and bioflavonoids, this formula is estimated to be absorbed 400% faster than regular vitamin C. Ester-C also has a neutral pH that helps protect you from the stomach upset that can accompany other Vitamin C products.

Ferrum Phos 30X Hyland’s #500 Tab. Bottle Ferrum Phosphoricum (Phosphate of Iron) is found in all cells of the body but primarily in the hemoglobin of red blood cells, lymph, muscle and hair cells. This one is used for acute phases of disease, for improving the appetite and relieving debility. Flannel Sheets for Castor Oil Packs by Heritage Products: there is nothing special about these sheets. You can go to your local fabric store and purchase a yard or two of white flannel for less money. The material should be thrown away after each use anyway.

Flor Essence 2oz. Flora Inc. (See Essiac Extract above.)

Floridix 17oz. Bottle by Flora. Iron deficiency affects as many as 4-5 billion people according to the World Health Organization. Some signs of iron deficiency include: Fatigue, inability to concentrate, dark circles under the eyes, brittle hair and nails, cold hands/feet, tan cheeks and chin. This is a safe, bioabsorbable iron supplement that does not cause constipation.

Ginger Root Powder #100 Nature’s Way Herbs: I use this for increasing circulation, stomach upset and car sickness in dogs. It helps with spasms and cramps, acts as an antioxidant, is great for bowel disorders, hot flashes, morning sickness and acts as an antimicrobial for sore throats.

Ginkgo Biloba Std. Ext. #50 by Nature’s Way Herbs: Used to increase blood flow to the head and butt muscles. I use it for memory on "brain fog" days. Do not use if you are on blood thinners. 

Glandulars/Protomorphogens from Standard Process labs www.standardprocess.com These have saved my life a time or two! My favorite products are listed on the Glandular/Protomorphogen handout.

Glucosamine Sulfate, Phytopharmica brand www.phytopharmica.com The best darned glucosamine on the market. It is time-released and works better than any brand my clients have tried. A bit higher in price than the cheap crap, but you take less pills and they are more effective, so overall you are paying less and you'll be happier with the results. I carry this most all the time as we use it, too!

Goldenseal Root #50 Capsule Bottle by Nature’s Way: Always get the root as it is stronger. I suspect this one may be cut with something or be a lower quality product because the stuff I order in bulk cost me $250 per pound! My clients use it all the time and swear by it. It should only be taken for short periods of time and not for more than 10 days in a row by itself. 

Gymnema #100 Capsules by Nature’s Way: Great for insulin resistance and diabetes. Must be used on a long-term basis. It also comes in a tincture form, which you can use prior to eating anything with sugar on it. It acts to numb the sweet taste buds on your tongue and helps you cut back on sugar cravings. Halvah for Seasonal Affective Disorder (available through your local health food store, or grocery store in the Jewish food section) Or through www.Halvah.biz I used to have SAD. Don't anymore. I have helped so many people with this one product. Anything with sesame seeds is OK if you don't like to eat the sugar. I just can't say enough good things about this product.

Hawthorn #90 Standardized by Nature’s Way Herbs: Used to build up heart tissue, although my favorite product to use with this product is Standard Process Labs’ Cardio Plus because it has glandulars and CoQ-10 in it that make everything work better and the cell replacement healthier. 

Homeopathics from Professional Complementary Health Formulations (sold to professionals only--like me, but you can take a peak here) www.professionalformulas.com I'd never be without these. I'm a chemical sensitive person. I take a set of them with me when I travel and use a variety of homeopathics from this company to keep me going and free of my many allergies. Horse chestnut Cream by Planetary Formulations—Great for painful varicose veins. Just rub a little on the tender areas each night.

Horse chestnut Extract #90 Nature’s Way Herbs: Great for varicose veins, hemorrhoids and weak blood vessels. Use the cream topically over the painful areas for extra support.

Horsetail Grass (Equisetum) #100 Capsule Bottle by Nature’s Way: Used for soft nails as it contains lots of silica. Many enjoy it as a tea as well. I don’t think it has a very meaningful taste. 

Humic Shale Minerals for your garden from Live Earth Products. The soil conditioner product is made out of humic shale and a great way to add back all the trace minerals to the soil that your garden plot may be depleted in. Hydrangea Root #100 Nature’s Way Herbs. This is my most favorite herb to dissolve kidney stones. It does take time (as natural medicine always does) so if you are having acute pain, sometimes the medical system is the best route. This treatment usually takes about 3-4 months to dissolve the stones and crystals. You will want to drink distilled water and cut back on the coffee and especially the soda pop as this leaches minerals out of the system and causes stone formation. I carry it in bulk as well.

Bottle—This homeopathic is used for sadness and the grieving process.  Also used for mental and physical exhaustion, hiccoughs, long/troublesome dreams and excessive jerking of the limbs upon falling asleep. Oh, and headaches that feel like there is a nail driven through the side of your head while leaning over. You might want to review the aneurism handout if you have that sign! Ipecac 30X Hyland’s #250 Tab. Bottle—Used for vomiting and nausea, bright red nosebleeds, asthma, incessant and violent coughing, laryngitis and abdominal pain. Kali Mur 30X Hyland’s #500 Tab. Bottle Kali Muriaticum (Potassium Chloride) has a special affinity for fibrin and is useful in diseases causing blisters such as chickenpox, measles, burns and scalds. It is used for hot flashes, chills, weariness, heaviness, palpitations, anxiety, fear, sadness, toothaches, headaches and pain I the limbs that seems to be worse inside and with warmth. Kelp #180 Capsule Bottle by Nature’s Way Herbs: Used for sub-clinical thyroid problems (like when you walk with your palms facing behind you, which is a sign of early thyroid disease.) Kyo Green 5oz. Bottle—Great alkalizing product, but a bit spendy. Barfy Green Stuff is definitely cheaper! Lots of people use this in their natural cancer therapies. It tastes rather "green" so I mix it with Clamato juice. Some of my clients prefer mixing it with prune juice. Bleck!

L 

L-Arginine 500mg #100 Twin Lab. Arginine is known as an immune enhancer. It increases the size and activity of the thymus gland. It is also good for live disorders and in the production of seminal fluid which nourishes sperm. Most people that need it in my practice are using it in their body for the processing of nitrogen...a breakdown of muscle and protein. It is also used in the production of certain hormones and along with other enzymes. It is overrated when advertised as a libido enhancer. 

L-Carnitine 250mg #60 Twin Lab. this is an important amino acid, but doesn't work like the ads say for taking away muscle pain associated with exercise. Vegetarians are more likely to be deficient in this amino acid because it is high in meat. 

L-Cysteine 500mg #60 Twin Lab. Helps with detoxification, protects against radiation damage. A great free-radical destroyer. Used of rheumatoid arthritis, hardening of the arteries, an cancer. Promotes healing. My clients often test they need it as a fat-burner. Not good for diabetics as it may inactivate insulin and it may cause cystine kidney stones in those with that particular genetic defect.  

L-Glycine-- I carry this as a free-form amino acid in my practice for irritable bowel syndrome. It seems to work well (if your body needs it.)

L-Lysine 500mg #100 Twin Lab--Used for herpes infections. It also helps with calcium absorption and the maintenance of proper nitrogen balance in adults. Aids in the production of antibodies, hormones and enzymes. helps in collagen formation and tissue repair.  Click on the product picture to order.

L-Ornithine 500mg. #100 Twin Lab. In my practice, those people who test they need this non-essential amino acid seem to need it for helping with sleep. I've read that it helps prompt the release of growth hormone and that it is necessary for proper immune and liver function, but I think we must get most of what we need from our diets. It is synthesized from Arginine and serves as  a building block to some of the other amino acids. Children, pregnant women, nursing mothers and schizophrenics should not take this supplement.  

L-Taurine 500mg #50 Twin Lab (AKA Mega Taurine) for the eyes. Lack of Taurine in the cat causes blindness and an enlarged heart. Many years ago researchers found that there was not enough Taurine in dog food. People were feeding their cats dog food because it was cheaper (didn't have as much protein in it) so the cats were getting sick. Natural sources of Taurine seem sufficient for most as we eat lots of eggs, fish, meat and milk.  

L-Tyrosine 500mg. #100 Twin Lab. this is an important amino acid. Tyrosine is a precursor of the neurotransmitters norepinephrine and dopamine. what does that mean to you? It helps to regulate mood and prevents depression among its other benefits. It is high in pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds (one huge reason why I recommend Halvah.) Lots of clients test they need this in natural forms. Blood Type B people don't do well with it.   

Lithium Orotate #100 Tab bottle. Studies show those places that are low in lithium have higher rates of anger and violent crimes. Often, people who have had near-death experiences crave high lithium foods like lemons. 

Lutein #100 Capsules TwinLab Used for eye challenges. Acts as a potent antioxidant. Helps with retinal damage and in macular degeneration. Lutein is in the Ocuguard Plus formula. It is found naturally in spinach, kale, fruits and vegetables. 

Licorice Root #100 Capsule Bottle by Nature’s Way Herbs. Promotes adrenal gland function. Beneficial for allergies, asthma, chronic fatigue, hypoglycemia and inflammatory bowel disorders. Popularly used as a treatment for ulcers (although I think Okra Pepsin is more effective.) Contraindicated during pregnancy and in people with diabetes, glaucoma, heart disease, high blood pressure. It can cause high blood pressure.

Magnet for back pain- Find a Nikken distributor in your area and support them as they work hard! Or check out their company at www.nikken.com Item # 1447. Both my husband and I take this product wherever we go and slap it onto anything that hurts. We wear it under our legs when we are driving and on our backs while sitting for long periods of time to increase circulation.

Magnetic Mattress I tell my clients that if they stopped making this mattress, I'd put a lock on my bedroom door so no one could discover I had one and take it from me. When I come back from trips it seems like I get rejuvenated just lying on the thing.

Magnetic necklace for energy and migraines . I don't have migraines, but I find that if I take the necklace off for a week or so that my mind is not as clear, so I wear mine all the time.

Mag. Phos. 30X Hyland’s #500 Tab. Bottle.  A craving for beer may mean a Magnesia Phosphrorica (Magnesium phosphate.) Max EPA Fish Oil #100 by Nature’s Way seems to be a common supplement that my clients test strong on for skin and bone conditions (including many kinds of arthritis.)

Milk Thistle (Thisilyn) #100 Capsule Bottle by Nature’s Way: Great for acute detoxification of the liver.  Take a couple of capsules before you go out on the town to help speed up detoxification of alcohol, sulfites, MSG and other toxins you may get into.

Mineral Gel, Tea Tree Icy 4oz. Jason great for rubbing into sore backs. Smells like wintergreen. We use this often at our house for back pain. Smells like wintergreen. Yum.

Missing Link, Canine 1# Canister—For making raw food diets and for skin disease.

Moducare #90 An immune-stimulant and modulator, which means that it will either stimulate or calm the nervous system as the body needs. 

MSM 750mg. #240 Tabs from Source Natural. I’m sure that any high-quality brand would work. The powdered stuff tastes awful. This product best works for arthritis when the body also has skin problems, humans and dogs, but not with cats. Cats don’t process sulfur well (therefore onions are toxic to cats as they contain lots of sulfur and this causes damage to the red blood cells.) 

Myrrh Gum Powder #100 Nature’s Way Herbs—I carry this in bottles and in bulk. It is my secret weapon for yeast infections in adults and in dogs.

Nat. Mur 30X Hyland’s #500 Tab. Bottle.  Natrum Phosphoricum (Sodium Phosphate) helps to convert lactic acid into its byproducts. It is used for gout, inflammatory rheumatism, high cholesterol, acid blood, headaches on the top of the head, bad breath, pain on the inside of the eyeballs, red blotched tongues with a yellow root, nausea, and habitual constipation. Nettle Leaves #100 Nature’s Way Herbs: Great for hives and a natural source for calcium and minerals. Especially great for those with kidney stones who can’t take calcium supplements.

Also for morning sickness. It is also useful for rectal itching, hemorrhoids, feelings that your bowels have not emptied, asthma attacks, insomnia caused from mental strain and some types of coughs. Ocuguard Plus #120 TwinLab—Over the years I’ve found that this product is really good. It contains Lutein and lots of minerals to support the retina. TwinLab also carries the regular formula (no Plus,) but it does not usually test strong on my clients. 

Oil, Almond by Flora—A light oil used for skin care and massage. I put this oil in my granola recipe.

Oil, Sesame, 8 oz. by Flora—A light oil used for skin care and massage. I use it in my recipes as well. 

Oil, Sunflower, 8.5oz by Flora—A good oil used for some skin diseases and mild winter depression (when Halvah isn’t needed.) 

Old Dog Formula (my own special formula of ginkgo, yucca and Siberian ginseng). I designed it for the old dogs in my practice but shouldn't have been surprised to find the human "old dogs" were taking it too. Works in both humans and dogs.

Olive Leaf—This is a wonderful antioxidant for much of the population. It helps to lower blood pressure and has a calming effect. Good for people who don't have a bowel movement every day (of course those types are also prone to high blood pressure, cancer and skin disease, so that would make sense.) Suited for today's busy and stressful lifestyle. I carry it in bulk capsule form. 

Osteo-Guard One-to-One AMNI #120—An effective calcium supplement.

Osteo-Guard Plus w/ Ipriflavone (Calcium Hydroxyapatite) AMNI People with brittle bones often test they need this kind of calcium, but I back it up with Ionic Minerals as well.

Papaya Tabs #600 American Health (Used for anyone who has had or has a tendency for cancer to help digest proteins in the body and to get oxygen to the cells. Also great for people who have digestive disorders after eating--common in blood type A people over the age of 40.) They taste good and you’ll take them forever. Cheap, too! 

Parsley Caps. #100 Nature’s Way Herbs: Great diuretic, full of minerals and natural calcium. Don’t take more than a whole bottle at once or it will work your kidneys too hard. OK…I’m joking. Kind of. Who would take enough parsley for it to be a problem? So, grow your own or buy organic. Parsley is packed with trace minerals. Most everybody benefits from this vegetable. Especially your pet dogs and those who have fluid retention and just about any kind of malady (heart disease, arthritis, diabetes.)

Pau D’Arco 4 oz. Source Naturals Extract--Used for yeast, cancer viruses and as a nutty-flavor herbal tea. I like it. Keep refrigerated after opening. It is also good mixed with Willard Water and can be used topically for yeast and other infections. To read more about this product see the February, 2006 Newsletter.

PB-8 Probiotic #120 Vegicaps by Nutrition Now.  These types of probiotics usually contain several species of Lactobacilli which assist in digesting proteins in the gut. Healthy gut flora consists of 85% Lactobacilli and 15 % E. coli. Imbalances of these percentages can lead to gas, bloating, intestinal toxicity, constipation, malabsorption (check those fingernails of yours. If they have vertical ridging, you are not absorbing your nutrients well.) You can't get enough Lactobacillus for an imbalanced GI tract with yogurt alone. You need more organisms.  This also helps combat yeast.  Store in a cool, dry place. Do not freeze. Take in conjunction with antibiotics, but it works best on an empty stomach.

PGF-400, AMNI—this is a popular oral chelator, but if the blood vessels are really plugged up with cholesterol, intravenous Chelation is the better way to go.

Pines Green Energy Barley Grass: An alkalizing drink used for the treatment of chronic diseases such as cancer (that’s probably why it cost so much, huh?)—Barfy Green Stuff is much cheaper and more effective. 

Poke Root Extracts. I use this in my smoothies often. It makes your lymph system more efficient and liquidy. Great for fibroids in the breast and in lymphatic diseases. If the tops of your feet are tender to massage, reflexology and touch, this indicates sludging lymph. I carry the Medi-Herb brand and dispense it into 1 ounce bottles. a little goes a long way.

Pretty Hands and Feet dry skin remover Get this product through your local Rite-Aid store. Man, does it whip off those calluses in a hurry. You must apply it to dry skin then rinse it off. One treatment per day. It may take 3-4 days to get them down, but they won't come back. I think it's pretty safe…I don't react to it and my clients haven't reacted either. Program flea product  This is the absolute most safest product on the market for flea control. Only problem is, you can't give it to flea allergic pets because it doesn't prevent the fleas from biting and causing a reaction in your pet. Darn it.

Radical Fighters #100 Capsule bottle by TwinLab. This seems to be a high quality potent antioxidant that is safe for many people. 

Red Clover Blossoms #100 Capsule Bottle by Nature’s Way: Antiviral/Antibacterial and a component of Jason Winters tea. Jason was given an immune-building formula by Native American people that helped with cancer. Red Clover Blossoms are still in his formula today although he had to remove one herb because of the FDA. 

Red Raspberry Leaves #100 Nature’s Way Herbs: Great uterine tonic. It’s really cheaper to make your own tea, but if you don’t have any raspberry bushes, you’ll have to get some here. Also eating lots of raspberries will be helpful, only half the effectiveness, but if you are craving them, you might want to add in some Raspberry leaf to your supplements. 

Red Yeast Rice #90 600mg. Capsule Bottle by Solaray is a good, high-quality, standardized brand as this is used as a medication to lower LDL cholesterol. 

Rescue Remedy Spray Bach Rescue Remedy is great for stress, emotional distraught and grieving. A must for the holistic emergency kit!  Rescue Remedy is a combination of five flower essences and is really effective. It comes in drops, spray or cream and can be found in most health food sections and health food stores. The cost is about $9-15 depending on which form you choose to take it in. You use it as needed up to every 15 minutes if necessary. A little goes a long way. Works on animals, too! A must for your First Aid Kit (keep it away from strong odors and perfumes as it is a homeopathic).

Rutin #60 Tablets KAL brand--Used for bruising and weak blood vessels, like those think-skin bruises in older people and for nosebleeds.

Saw Palmetto #100 Nature’s Way Herbs: My feeling is that you should use a standardized form of Saw Palmetto as it is being used as a medication. When you get the cheap stuff, or an unknown brand, you don’t know the quality or if it has been contaminated with anything. You want it to work and you want to know you can count on it for treatment and prevention of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia and those elevated PSA tests. 

Scar Massage Oil. I’ve seen scars go away years after the surgery with some daily massage and oil high in Vitamin E. Scars can be associated with pains in other areas of the body and they can hold emotional memory. 

Senna Leaves #100 Nature’s Way Herbs: I use this to put into the Anti-constipation Paste recipe. 

Siberian Ginseng (Eleuthero) #100 Nature’s Way Herbs. this herb is great for debilitating diseases and muscle-wasting due to aging. It increases the blood flow to the large muscles (especially in the butt) and helps with general overall maintenance. It is safe taken long-term and is also in the B-Stress formula.  

Silica w/Bioflavonoids 500mg. #120 tab bottle-Alta Health This one does a great job in repairing soft nails.

Silicea 30X Hyland’s #500 Tab. Bottle.  Silicea (Silicic acid or silica) is used for fatigue, oversensitivity to noises, absentmindedness, crankiness, headaches from the nape of the neck to the top of the head and settling in one eye, nausea, nervous exhaustion, hair falling out, sties, floaters, sneezing, painful hemorrhoids, brittle nails with white spots and ribs and for weak ankles. Slippery Elm Bark #100 Nature’s Way Herbs—I talk about this in my story, “Are You An Angel?” in the I Am a Miracle book. I purchase it in bulk, because I don’t like separating the capsules to make a little pile of it, but this is an important herb to have in your medicine cabinet for burns and sores that won’t heal. 

Shower filter to remove chlorine. We carry a good-quality one for about $40. If you are showering without a filter like this you can be getting up to 80 glasses of chlorine through your skin with each hot shower. Chlorine has been proven to cause many types of cancer.

Sphingolin #240 Cap. Bottle by Ecological Formulations (for Multiple Sclerosis and other brain and nerve damaging disease processes.)

Trinity NMS water www.trinitysprings.com This is my favorite bottled water. The pH is 9.8 which is REALLY alkaline. Most of our water is a bit acid. So how do you stay alkaline? This water is high in silica, so is great for those with soft nails and tendon/ligament problems. Lately it's been hard to find. Let me know when they start producing it again. Try Essentials water instead. It's also alkaline.

Turmeric, Standardized #100 Capsules by Nature’s Way: Used as an antioxidant and for connective tissue cancers. The active component is Cucurmin. Sometimes you will be able to find this product with that name.
